My associate has a Ph.D. in mathematics and earns his living as a professional statistician. It was he who first told me that 4 out of every 7 African American children die under the knife of an abortionist. He learned that by studying the statistics on the subject.

But the human mind does not react strongly to mathematical statistics. Man is mentally wired to deal with actual situations, not numbers. The figures my associate gave me made no real impact on my mind until I held the body of a seven-and-a-half pound aborted African American baby girl. She was taken out of a small box on a towel, and placed in my hands by a pro-life worker. It seemed like an electric shock went through my body.  It still makes me cry when I think about it to this day.

In that moment it struck me like a bolt of lightning – this is happening to 4 out of every 7 African American babies in the United States of America. My God! 4,150 American babies are killed by the abortionists every day! 51 million total! Black babies that are aborted are by far the largest are by far the largest of any ethnic group in our country. As I said, 4 out of every 7 die under the hands of an abortionist's knife. 

The old black and white newsreels of mountains of dead Jews at Hitler's Auschwitz death camp flashed before my mind. These were bodies of Jews who had been exterminated in gas chambers, whose bodies were left in huge piles, waiting to be burned in the ovens.

At the war crimes trial at Nuremberg, Rudolf Hoess’ testimony was read. Hoess was in charge of Hitler's death camp at Auschwitz. At the war crimes trial Hoess told how the Jews at Auschwitz were exterminated.  They were herded out of their prison cells into large showers, where they were told they would be given a nice clean shower. But those "showers" were really death chambers. Hoess said,

When I set up the extermination building at Auschwitz, I used Zyklon B, which was a crystallized prussic acid which we dropped into the death-chamber "showers" from a small opening. It took 3 to 15 minutes to kill the people in the death-chamber, depending on climatic conditions. We knew when the people were dead because their screaming stopped. We usually waited for about half an hour before we opened the doors and removed the bodies. After the bodies were removed our special commandos took off the rings and extracted the gold teeth of the corpses. We were required to carry out these exterminations in secrecy but naturally the foul and nauseating stench from the continual burning of bodies permeated the entire area and all the people living in the surrounding districts knew that exterminations were going on at Auschwitz (Rudolf Hoess, quoted in Roger Manvell, SS and Gestapo, Ballentine Books, 1976, p. 113).

There are quite a few books linking Darwin’s “survival of the fittest” to Hitler’s death camps, and to the abortion extermination of African Americans in the U.S.A. For instance, Dr. Richard Weikart's book, From Darwin to Hitler says that Hitler “approved abortion of ‘inferior’ races” (Richard Weikart, Ph.D., From Darwin to Hitler, Palgrave Macmillan, 2004, p. 213). In War Against the Weak: Eugenics and America’s Campaign to Create a Master Race, Edwin Black quotes an abortionist who said,

It is better for all the world, if instead of waiting to execute degenerate offspring for crime…society can prevent those who are manifestly unfit from continuing their kind (Edwin Black, War Against the Weak: Eugenics and America’s Campaign to Create a Master Race, Thunder Mountain Press, 2003, page 121).

Margaret Sanger [founder of Planned Parenthood] aligned herself with [these] eugenicists whose ideology prevailed in the 20th century. Eugenicists strongly espoused racial supremacy and “purity”…Eugenicists hoped to purify the bloodlines and improve the race by encouraging the…“unfit” to restrict their reproduction. They sought to contain the “inferior” races through segregation, sterilization, birth control and abortion (Tanya L. Green, in her article, The Negro Project: Margaret Sanger’s Eugenic Plan for Black Americans, www.cwfa.org).

Sanger shrewdly used the influence of prominent blacks to reach the masses of those least in position to help themselves. But, instead of offering them charity and comfort, she misled these women…Make no mistake: Margaret Sanger’s views were bigoted, racist and sexist, and she was cunning to boot. Read Sanger’s own words for yourself: “We do not want word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population,” she once wrote (Deborah Simmons, “The Negro Project,” The Washington Times, 2/8/2002).

It should be remembered that those who will now control Washington got their idea of a woman's "right" to kill her unborn babies directly from Margaret Sanger's Planned Parenthood organization.

But why should I care what happens to 4 out of 7 black babies? Why should that be of concern to a 67-year-old white man like me? Here is why it literally consumes me, and I think of it night and day.

Martin Niemoller (1892-1984) was one of a very small number of pastors in Germany who opposed Hitler. Thus he spent most of World War II in a concentration camp. Niemoller made this famous statement:

First they came for the Communists,
but I was not a Communist;
So I remained silent.

Then they came for the Socialists and unionists,
but I was not a Socialist or unionist;
So I remained silent.

Then they came for the Jews,
but I was not a Jew;
So I remained silent.

And when they came for me,
there was no one left to speak out.

That’s one of the reasons why I care what happens to 4 out of every 7 black babies.

Jesse Jackson knows about this. Several years ago I was a member of a panel on a TV program Jesse Jackson hosted. With the cameras rolling, I asked him why no leading black politician like him ever mentions the 4 out of every 7 African American babies being exterminated by abortion. He didn’t answer me. He just smiled and spoke to the next panelist. When the TV program was aired my question was deleted, edited from the video tape. It was then that I realized why he smiled. He knew my question would be erased before anyone got to see it on TV. How many other black politicians are hiding these hideous facts from the American people? How many leading black politicians are actually influenced by Planned Parenthood's "Negro Project"? Is this why leading black politicians today just smile when the subject is brought up, and fail to point out that this is really part of an evil plan to wipe out large segments of the black race in America?

First they came for the black babies,
but I was not black;
So I remained silent.

And when they came for me,
there was no one left to speak out.

Remember, the killing of thousands of these black children by the abortionists is only the beginning of the slaughter spoken of in Bible prophecy. Who is next? Could Bible-believing white Christians soon be on their "hit" list as well? Could it be against the law some day soon to preach what I am saying in this sermon? Could preachers like me soon find themselves persecuted by the government for their stand against wholesale abortion and other stands we take against the liberal social agenda? Black babies are now on the list. Could white Christians someday soon be on that same list for speaking out? I think so. 

That takes us back to the text. The disciples asked Jesus, “What shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?” (Matthew 24:3). Christ gave them a list of signs. Then Christ gave this terrible warning,

“For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved…” (Matthew 24:21-22).

Dr. J. Vernon McGee said,

This tribulation is unique; there has been nothing like it in the history of the world…When the Great Tribulation gets here, there will be nothing to match it in the past or in the future… We read in the Book of Revelation that during the Tribulation one third of the population of the earth will be destroyed (J. Vernon McGee, Th.D., Thru the Bible, Thomas Nelson Publishers, 1983, volume IV, p. 129).

The main figure of the Great Tribulation will be the Antichrist. Dr. Edward Hindson said,

He will control the last great bastion of Gentile world power and will extend his control over the entire world, promising to ensure world peace through a series of international treaties, agreements, and alliances. Despite his promise of world peace, he will inevitably plunge the world into the most catastrophic war of all time (Edward Hindson, Th.D., “The Antichrist,” Tim LaHaye Study Bible, AMG Publishers, 2000, p. 1291).

The Bible teaches that the Antichrist will “overcome” the Christians in the Tribulation,

“And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations” (Revelation 13:7).

Dr. John F. Walvoord said,

Acting as Satan’s tool, the beast [the Antichrist] is able to wage war against the saints throughout the entire globe and to overcome them…In the will of God, many believers in Christ among both Jews and Gentiles perish as martyrs during this awful time of trial (John F. Walvoord, Th.D., The Revelation of Jesus Christ, Moody Press, 1973 edition, p. 201).

Then the Bible teaches that the Antichrist will cause everyone to receive “a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads” (Revelation 13:16). No one will be able to buy or sell without this mark (Revelation 13:17). Dr. Walvoord said,

The mark is simply a token that they are beast worshipers [Antichrist worshipers], and it serves as an identification necessary to conduct business and to purchase the necessities of life. It is another device to force all people to worship the beast (Walvoord, ibid., p. 209).

Those who refuse to worship the Antichrist and his image will be “sentenced to be killed” (Walvoord, ibid., p. 208).

But why become a Christian if it means there will be so much suffering in the near future? Because that is not the end of the story. Please turn to Revelation, chapter twenty, verse four. Let us stand and read that verse aloud.

“And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years” (Revelation 20:4).

You may be seated. There is another world to gain. When Christ comes, those who suffer for Him will reign in His Kingdom, including the black children who have been slaughtered in the Abortion Holocaust. 

Jim Elliot went as a missionary to the Auca Indians in Ecuador. They had never heard the Gospel. They had never had contact with the outside world. Jim Elliot left his plane to meet them, and bring them the Gospel. A few hours later helicopters from the Ecuadorian Air Force found his body. He had been pierced through with spears and hacked to pieces by machetes. He never got to give them the Gospel. He was dead – at 28 years old. Later, his wife and children went back and lived among those people who killed him. Tears came into my eyes when I saw the Indian man who killed Jim Elliot carrying one of his children in his arms, in the movie, “Through Gates of Splendor.” It was Jim Elliot, that 28 year old Christian martyr, who made this famous statement – and I hope you will never forget it – “He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain what he cannot lose.” Let us repeat Jim Elliot’s motto aloud, “He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain what he cannot lose.”

Give up your life to Christ. Throw it away for Him. Come to Him. Be washed clean from sin by His Blood. Then give your life to Christ. Lose it for Christ! Stand up for those who have no voice, for black babies, and lost people everywhere you go! It may seem a hopeless task, but God sees, and God rewards. If they mock you or kill you, remember “He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain what he cannot lose.” You will gain what you cannot lose. “And they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years” (Revelation 20:4).

Today is Reformation Sunday. Martin Luther nailed the Ninety-Five Theses on the church door at Wittenberg. It was ninety-five points against the sale of indulgences by the Catholic Church. He risked his life to stand up for the Gospel of Christ in the midst of a Roman Catholic-dominated world. Will we have the same courage to stand up and speak out against abortion in our day? Let us stand and sing Martin Luther’s hymn.

A mighty fortress is our God, a bulwark never failing;
Our helper He, amid the flood of mortal ills prevailing:
For still our ancient foe doth seek to work us woe;
His craft and power are great, and, armed with cruel hate,
On earth is not his equal.

Did we in our own strength confide, our striving would be losing;
Were not the right Man on our side, the Man of God’s own choosing:
Dost ask who that may be? Christ Jesus, it is He;
Lord Sabaoth, His Name, from age to age the same,
And He must win the battle.

And though this world, with devils filled, should threaten to undo us,
We will not fear, for God hath willed His truth to triumph through us:
The Prince of Darkness grim, we tremble not for him;
His rage we can endure, for lo, his doom is sure,
One little word shall fell him.

That word above all earthly powers, no thanks to them, abideth;
The Spirit and the gifts are ours through Him Who with us sideth:
Let goods and kindred go, this mortal life also;
The body they may kill: God’s truth abideth still,
His kingdom is forever.
   (“A Mighty Fortress Is Our God” by Martin Luther, 1483-1546).
